When the worst happens, you are not alone.

Final Journey Home is a Cameroonian solidarity association in the Netherlands.
When a member passes away, we come together to support the family - with dignity, clarity, and practical help.

Cameroonian community in the Netherlands helping its own

Final Journey Home is a Cameroonian solidarity association in the Netherlands. When a member passes away, we come together as a community to support their family. That support can include help with funeral costs, repatriation to Cameroon if the family wishes, or a dignified burial or cremation here in the Netherlands.

Our goal is simple: no one should face this moment alone.

How our solidarity works

Final Journey Home Netherlands is built by members for members. When we lose someone in our community, we act fast, together.
Every active member plays a part. That's how we protect our families with dignity.

1. You join the association

You complete the registration form, please fill it fully. You pay a one-time €25 membership fee. You also give us your next-of-kin contact so we know who to contact if something happens.

2. You stand with others

If a member (or their approved close family member) passes away, we open a solidarity campaign. All active members in Good Standing are asked to contribute within 10 day.

3. We all contribute, together

Each active member is asked to send a fixed contribution for that specific case. The total support for the family comes from all members who are active. The more active members we have, the smaller the amount each person needs to give. This system exists only for registered members. It is not public fundraising.

4. We support the family with dignity

The collected money is transferred to the family of the deceased member. They choose how to use it - for example: funeral costs, repatriation to Cameroon if they wish, or a dignified burial or cremation in the Netherlands.

From our families

We didn't have to beg for money or scramble for help. The members contributed, the funds came together, and we buried our brother with dignity. That's what this community does

Bringing my father home to Cameroon felt impossible - the costs were overwhelming. Final Journey Home's financial support made it happen. We gave him the burial he always wanted, in the village where he was born. Register now, while you can. Don't leave your family struggling to bring you home
